Why subscribe?

Every Sunday I deliver a newsletter that helps you to plan and get inspired to walk the Camino de Santiago. Every Wednesday at 11am I am live here on Substack — usually with a guest who has done the Camino—answering your Camino questions. Subscribers will be get the newsletter and notifications about my Wednesday live calls right to their inbox.

With over 12 years of experiences walking, volunteering, and (as of 2021) living on the Camino de Santiago, I’m here to:

  • Share my experiences and insights with you—regardless of your interest in walking the Camino de Santiago yourself. I believe the experience—whether you embark on it or simply read about it—can teach all of us so much. Or, more accurately, remind us of deep truths we already know.

  • Inspire you—to walk the Camino de Santiago. I specialize in making the Camino go from idea to reality for those age 55 and over.

  • Inform you—through personal stories from my experiences on the Camino and from living in Spain, you’ll gain valuable insights—whether you’re planning your own Camino journey, seeking inspiration, or simply eager to learn more about this incredible pilgrimage and/or the Spanish culture from the view of this ex-pat.

  • Connect with you virtually—The virtual world can separate us or bring us together. I prefer the latter. Join me live on Substack every Wednesday at 11 ET. Comment on posts—I’ll respond to every one. Engage with other readers in the comments. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • Connect with you in person—I welcome the opportunity to work with you 1-on-1 to plan your Camino. And should you ever find yourself in Villaviciosa, Spain, it would be an honor to meet you in person. Meeting a reader anywhere in the world brings me such joy!

Never miss a post—subscribe and they’ll be delivered to your inbox. You’ll also get full access to the newsletter and publication archives.

If you’d like to be the first to learn about my next Camino Walk with Rebecca, click here to get added to the list. I lead small groups (no more than 8) for the first 3 days on various routes—giving you the skills and confidence you need to finish the Camino on your own.
