This is great. I've already done a little research on how to get to St Jean Pied de Port, and realized I would need to add a day to our itinerary just to get there from a major international airport like Barcelona or Madrid. Your details help clear things up further.
Happy to hear this helps, Lisa. If you can get to Pamplona (connection from Madrid), there's a bus from there to SJPdP. But check the times as sometimes the flight doesn't get in in time for the bus. Alternatively, fly to Biarritz and get the Express Bourricot shuttle from there. (You could also take the bus from Biarritz to Bayonne and the train from Bayonne to SJPdP, but Express Bourricot is much easier!)
